Chitra River (English: Chitra River) is a river in Gopalganj district, southwestern Bangladesh. The length of the river is 172 kilometers, the average width is 53 meters and nature spiral. Identity number given by the Bangladesh Water Development Board or "Paubo" by Chatkhali river number No. 34 of the southwestern region. The river is a large coastal river of Ganges-Padma system flowing southwestern Bangladesh. The river, which is 170 kms long, flows through the lower level of Chuadanga and Darshan, flowed through Kaliganj, Magura's Shalikha and Kalia upazilas in Gazirhat with Nabaganga river and its combined streams mixed in the Bhairab river near Daulatpur in Khulna
